Our Mad Duck Race for 2024 was successfully run!
Rotarians present to 1st Prize winner Stephen Lajoie (with wife Shelley) from White Lake and 2nd Prize winner Joyce Murray from Arnprior. Congratulations!!
The 3rd Prize winner was Chris Swaffield of Ottawa:
Thanks to Antrim Truck Stop, No Frills and Giant Tiger who provided spots to sell tickets in May & June. Also tremendous thanks to Ottawa Valley Air Paddle for providing kayaks & labour to rescue escaping ducks, joining Rotarians & volunteer Ralph Chown, all of whom allow us to bring the ducks home for another year. Finally, big thanks to Ray Nichol who operated the front-end loader provided by Sullivans to safely release the ducks from the Madawaska Bridge.
